Course Descriptions - Upward Bound

This pre-collegiate program is designed to provide the skills and motivation necessary for success in post-secondary education. The program is divided into two parts: once-a-week tutoring during the academic year and once-a-month counseling and a six-week residential summer program at the Southern Vermont College campus.

Students must meet eligibility requirements. This is a quality program designed for students in grades 8 through 12. In most cases, students complete applications during grades 8 or 9. Applications are available from Upward Bound or the counseling office.
