         who will constructively question and actively support our democratic society, we strive:
          a. To encourage participation in a variety of school activities
          b. To increase awareness of social/global problems
          c. To have students assume increasing responsibility as a member of the wider community

     4. That education cultivates in the student self-awareness, self –discipline, and self-respect;
         and by doing so creates independence, reliability, and a sense of personal achievement,
         we strive:
          a. To encourage the development of cultural, social, moral, and ethical values
          b. To encourage cooperation, learning, critical thinking and creativity.
