Electronics Policy
Cell
Phones
The school does not allow the use of cell phones by students in the building, or on campus during school hours.
If a cell phone is visible or audible, the student will be given a warning. If the student disregards or is seen or heard again with the cell phone, the cell phone will be confiscated and the student may pick up the cell phone in the office at the end of the day.
In repeated instances, the parent/ guardian will be notified to retrieve the cell phone from the office. Detention times will be assigned for repeat offenders.
IPODS & Electronic Entertainment Devices
(Including walkman, DVD players, and all electronic music/game devices)
Further,
these are not to be seen or heard in classrooms or they will be confiscated and held until a parent/guardian comes to
retrieve them. Teachers may exercise their discretion for their use during certain activities when students are working
independently. At no other time should a student have earphones or a device visible in the classroom.
The school is not liable for these should they become lost, stolen, or damaged.
