Disciplinary Procedures
Behavior disruptive to the learning environment
Student will be removed from class. Duration to be determined by administration and teacher.
Bullying or harassment
1st Offense: meeting with administration or resource officer. Incident recorded and parents notified.
2nd offense: Parents notified and students suspended in proportion to the severity of the incident. Students will receive training/counseling
3rd offense: Administrative discretion including extending suspension and may involve school board hearing (could result in expulsion or removed from school.)

Card Playing & Gambling
Card playing & gambling Are not allowed on school grounds. Administrative action will be taken.
Class Tardies
Teacher will assign teacher detention proportionate to class time missed on and after 3rd tardy. In addition, administration will be notified after 6th tardy and the student will meet with administration and be assigned lunch detentions. Parent will be notified A student may lose credit due to cumulative tardies

Class Cuts
1st offense: Teacher detention/call home/referral
2nd offense: Teacher detention/call home/referral
3rd offense: Teacher detention/call home/referral. Parent and Teacher conference
4th offense: Loss of credit

classes)

Drugs / Alcohol - Use possession or association with fighting
1st offense: Meeting with administration/parent. In/out of school suspension will be assigned up to 10 days
2nd offense: meeting with administration/parent. A safety assessment will be made. Student will be removed from general population for up to 10 days
3rd offense: Long term suspension/expulsion will be considered Students engaged in fighting may face legal action through assault charges.

Inciting a fight
ISS will be assigned.
Forging a note
ISS will be assigned.
Improper behavior to create a hazardous situation.
Including: snowballs, water pistols, toy weapons, skateboards, roller blades, and hacky sacks. Students should not bring skateboards to school.
Administrative action will be taken.
Off Limit Areas
Areas other than courtyard and school buildings. Students will be assigned lunch detention and be subject to search.
Possession/Sale setting off of explosive devices
Such as: firecrackers, smoke bombs, incendiary devices, paintball guns, or other items determined to be weapons. Notification
to appropriate authorities, extended suspension and possible expulsion proceedings.
