School Service



This course is an opportunity for students to provide assistance to school offices including the counseling office, main office and library. Students can also work as an assistant to a specific teacher. Students enrolled in this course provide valuable community service to the school. Students are expected to assist staff with clerical tasks, delivering passes and materials, setting up classrooms, labs and assisting in many other ways. The student will be given opportunities to develop the skills of reliability, independence and initiative.

Eligibility: Grades 9-12   Credits: 1 Credit
Course ID: 6580   Prerequisite: School counselor recommendation and approval of teacher or relevant office supervisor.
