This advanced language course provides students with a deeper insight into contemporary German culture as well as an introduction to German/Austrian history through literature. Two literary works will be read and will serve as a basis for many discussions, role plays, free writes, and cultural projects. The class is taught exclusively in German and all students are constantly involved in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Each activity is aimed to give students the opportunity to refine their grammar skills and increase their vocabulary.
