German 1

This is the first in a five-course sequence of German. This course introduces basic language structures, skills and vocabulary to students on an intense level. Students will develop the fundamentals of the four language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking, as well as a basic understanding of the culture of German speaking countries.
