SS Contemporary Global Issues



This course provides a thematic study of current issues in the United States and worldwide. Issues will include globalization, economics, literacy, human & civil rights, social conditions, environment, governments, military strengths, terrorism, immigration/migration, and technology. Students will experience a variety of learning activities including debates, simulations, mapping, research assignments, guest speakers and field trips.
