The SVCDC is a regional technical education center offering year-long tech programs and introductory courses. Tech programs based on Vermont DOE competency requirements offer certificates of mastery and industry certifications. These intensive programs provide academics and skills that prepare students for success in two and four year post secondary education settings as well as related entry-level employment positions. SVCDC programs have employability skills training and articulation agreements with one or more regional colleges. Many offer college credits for those who complete challenge exams. Local business and industry co-op placements provide real world experience.
